Vending operator intros automated newspaper machines to Malaysia, Singapore

Atlas Vending, serving Malaysia and Singapore, has teamed with Media Mulia, a publishing house, to distribute newspapers in vending machines in transportation hubs, according to a marketing-interactive.com report.

The pilot is designed to provide commuters and employees a convenient alternative to visiting a newsstand, convenience store or gas station.

The company also launched a fully-automated self-service concept called Mini Mart early this year offering food and beverages.
