Vending machine features elf singing Christmas songs

The West Side Show Room, a non-profit theater in Rockford, Illinois, features an "Elf-O-Matic" vending machine that sings Christmas songs to youngsters while visiting Santa Claus and dispenses Christmas gifts, according to a Northern Public Radio report. Mike Werckle, the artistic director, said the machine provides a safe way to allow people to enjoy the holidays during the pandemic.

The elf can perform "Deck the Halls," "Jingle Bells" or "Let It Snow" depending on which of the three buttons the patron chooses.
