ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola Co.'s Share a Coke campaign returned for its fifth time this summer, focused on the role Coke plays when sharing moments with others. Throughout the season, the Coca-Cola Share Chair -- an oversized armchair that doubled as a shareable vending machine -- brought this theme to life at several Coke-sponsored events.
After receiving custom Share a Coke mini-cans, vended from the chair, visitors were encouraged to capture and share the moment.
The Share Chair made stops at several summer events – from the Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle, to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Washington, DC, to the BET Experience in Los Angeles. Several thousand fans -- including sports stars Jordan Spieth, David Ross and Greg Garza, and singer/actor Trevor Jackson -- experienced the first-of-its-kind activation, enjoyed a complementary Coca-Cola and shared their experience on social media.
