Vend IT updates vending management app

Vend IT, an Alberta, Canada-based provider of vending management software, introduced version 2.0 of its vending machine management app, according to a company announcement. The app now allows vending operators more control and insight into stocking of their vending machines.

Vend IT provides live sales data and stock level information. Available on iPhone and iPad, the app helps operators keep their machines full and only visiting those machines requiring restock.

Expirtion date tracking has been added to show exactly when products will expire and gives operators of short shelf life products simple oversight of their expiry dates across their network.

A new device alert shows instantly when any problem occurs in a machine such a coin jammed in the slot or a product stuck in a coil.

Vend IT 2.0 app for iPad and iPhone has been delivered to the Apple App Store and will be rolling out to existing customer devices automatically.

The app is compatible with Cantaloupe/ePort/Seed Live.
