Vend-All, Elite Cuisine merge, plan Missouri expansion

Two Missouri convenience services companies — St. Louis-based Elite Cuisine and Kansas City and Sedalia-based Superior Vend-All — have merged into a new entity, Apex Restaurant and Market Solutions Inc., the largest foodservice provider based in Missouri, according to a Kansas City Patch report.

The new company has more than 200 employees and will another 20 in the next year. Plans are to form an employee stock ownership plan in the next 18 months.

Elite Cuisine offers catering, micro markets, coffee service, vending service and in-office cafes.

Superior Vend-All is Kansas City's largest independent vending and micro market provider.

The existing offices in St. Louis, Kansas City and Sedalia will be maintained. A new office is planned in Columbia, Missouri.
