VEAT Foods, a Swedish startup, will install 10 vegan vending machines in Stockholm, part of a global trend that has emerged in Canada and the U.K., according to a VegNews report.

VEAT Foods machines will offer vegan ready-made meals including salads, wraps, reheatable meals, beverages and snacks, priced between 29 Swedish Krona ($3.36) to 85 Swedish Krona ($9.85).

The startup installed one machine earlier this month and raised 5 million Swedish Krona ($580,000).

In Canada, The Green Moustache Café operates vegan food machines at a sports center and a hospital.

In London, Vibrant Vegan has installed machines offering vegan food in partnership with Open Kitchen Co., a vending operator.
