FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- VE Global Solutions' team recently met at VE South's offices here for an orientation on the U.S. launch of the brand-new Wittenborg 9100. The new countertop bulk-load hot beverage vending machine is manufactured by Italy's N&W Global Vending.

Offered in three models, including one- and two-hopper bean-to-cup designs, the 9100 is a thoroughgoing update of the durably popular 7100 series. It can deliver freshly brewed espresso and classic coffee, as well as caffe latte and hot chocolate. It features a 10" 1280 x 800 touchscreen, WiFi and Bluetooth and network interface. It accommodates cash and cashless payment systems, and free-vend operation.

The 9100 vender will start shipping in the United States in February.

N&W Global was formed through the amalgamation of venerable European manufacturers Necta (a successor company of Italy's famous Zanussi organization) and Wittenborg, which was established in Odense, Denmark, in 1924. VE Global Solutions began in 2005 as a joint venture of Vendors Exchange International Inc. (Cleveland), Italian beverage machine maker Progema (Treviso) and N&W Global.
