Vancouver Halloween party to feature NFT, AR cocktail vending machine

A Vancouver fashion designer has teamed with a mixologist on an "NFT and augmented reality-powered cocktail vending machine" that will debut Friday at a Halloween party, according to a dailyhive.com report.

NFTs, non-fungible tokens, are non-interchangeable units of data stored on a blockchain where they can be traded or sold.

The Skull Society vending machine in Vancouver is hosted by Kiarash TK, an NFT artist, and the Cocktail Connoisseur mixology team.

The machine, developed by SMRT1, a British Columbia based vending technology provider, uses artificial intelligence.

Guests will purchase craft cocktails from two smart machines, which feature an LED screen for an interactive, digital experience.
