Valley-Dynamo And Embed Team Up To Market Cashless Pool Tables

RICHLAND HILLS, TX -- Valley-Dynamo has announced a collaborative venture with Embed, one of the Helix Group companies, to bring the benefits of Embed's card system to pool table operators.

According to Valley-Dynamo, the partnership was formed in response to growing demand for cashless systems. As a result, Valley-Dynamo now offers a line of pool tables that seamlessly integrate with Embed card readers. Through the use of Embed's emONE self-contained, "self-installed" payment card acceptance solution, operators can enjoy the increased revenue, decreased operating costs and remote reporting advantages of a full-featured but value-priced card system.

Valley-Dynamo pool table models that interface with Embed are the Dynamo Sedona, the Valley Panther ZD-X and the Valley Top Cat. Dynamo hockey tables also are available with the Embed payment system; they include Fire Storm, Hot Flash, Best Shot, Blue Streak and Short Shot.

Valley-Dynamo reports that customers already are seeing the benefits of table games paired with Embed readers. "The Valley Top Cat is a great table for FECs, and we're seeing the benefits of utilizing swipe cards with them," said Blair Schopp, director of route operations at Cineplex Starburst Inc. (Toronto).

"We've seen growing requests for card readers to be installed on our air hockey and shuffleboard tables, and now that is expanding to pool tables," said Valley-Dynamo chief operating officer Mike Sebazco. "The Embed system is a perfect match for what we're trying to achieve -- increased profits for our customers."

Embed senior sales executive Phil Showler reported that number of pool tables installed in entertainment venues, where the Embed payment interface is widely used, is on the rise.
