Utz Quality Foods in acquisition talks

Utz Quality Foods, a potato chip manufacturer based in Hanover, Pennsylvania, is in talks to be acquired by Collier Creek Holdings, an acquisitions specialist, according to unnamed sources, reported Bloomberg.

Sources who wished to remain unnamed said the companies have been discussing the possible acquisition since before the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

A representative for New York-based Collier declined to comment, while Utz did not respond to a request for comment.
