MALVERN, PA -- USA Technologies Inc. has appointed Glen Goold interim chief financial officer, effective Jan. 24. His appointment follows the company's recent announcementthat it was reorganizing senior management after an internal audit uncovered accounting issues. Former CFO Priyanka Singh stepped down, effective Jan. 7.
 
Goold has served as a consultant to USAT since October 2018. He has more than two decades of experience in finance and accounting, including serving as CFO at Sutron Corp. Prior to that, he was associate vice-president of fund management at the Carlyle Group, a private equity firm. USAT's new interim CFO was with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP earlier in his career.
 
The Malverne, PA, company said it will be conducting a search process to identify a permanent CFO and Goold will be considered as part of that process, together with internal and external candidates.
