US Navy vessel installs micro market

The USS San Antonio based in Norfolk, Virginia, has installed a micro market, an unattended store that allows customers to pay using their Navy cash card, according to a report in The Virginia Pilot. The micro market offers more than 100 snack items and is open 24 hours a day.

The micro market represents the first seagoing version of Navy Exchange Service Command's onshore micronmarket.
