United Way to offer Texas schools grants for book vending machines

Longview, Texas schools will be able to offer book vending machines under a grant program from the Greater Longview United Way, according to a Longview News-Journal report.

The grants are available to elementary schools and nonprofit organizations in Gregg and Harrison counties.

Schools that receive grants will be given tokens that the machines, which will hold up to 300 books, will accept for dispensing books.
