United Natural Foods taps Mars’ Mario Maffie as CIO

United Natural Foods Inc. has named Mario Maffie chief information officer beginning Oct. 2, 2023, reporting to Erin Horvath, chief operating officer, according to a press release.

Maffie joins UNFI after having spent the past 24 years in roles of increasing responsibility at Mars Inc., most recently serving as corporate chief information officer.
