PRESS RELEASE
Source: United Food Group | Released July 15, 2016ELGIN, IL--July, 15, 2016-- United Food Group, a premier developer and manufacturer of specialty dry powder mixes, has partnered with Living Beyond Breast Cancer. In 2016, Living Beyond Breast Cancer earned its 11th consecutive four-star rating from Charity Navigator. Only 1% of rated charities have received this prestigious rating. We created a unique event to commemorate and celebrate our partner's 25th anniversary. Our goal is to raise awareness and offer financial support to the survivors of breast cancer, as well as their families.United Food Group has created the "Perfect Serving Living Beyond Breast Cancer Tour." It is an event that has been developed to span more than 2,000 miles, 10 states and incorporate 17 major cities throughout October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Starting in New York City, stopping off at the Living Beyond Breast Cancer's headquarters in Philadelphia, the tour continues to 16 other cities and ends in Chicago. The highlight of the tour is our 28-ft. touring trailer with a 16-ft. wide advertising display. The customized trailer commands attention and has been designed to transform into a full self-service beverage, specialty beverage, allied products and food sampling event.
United Food Group is soliciting the office coffee service and vending industry to participate in the Perfect Servings Living Beyond Breast Cancer Tour. While coordinating with members within the OCS industry, we intend to utilize key operators throughout these major cities to host this charitable event. With the collaboration of supporters along the route, we envision a way of giving back to Living Beyond Breast Cancer through multiple platforms. United Food Group has engaged a marketing company to work with major news networks, radio personalities, and local advertisers. "Live on Radio" will take place at all events.
Office coffee companies that wish to host the event in their cities would only have to apply. There is no cost to your company to host the event in your city, although certain obligations to support it are required. Hosts will be given the opportunity to have event trailers at their customers' places of business. In the morning, coffee, cappuccinos, specialty coffees, tea and pastries will be available for sampling. In the afternoon, sandwiches will be provided, along with iced tea, lemonade, milkshakes and slush. The concept is to offer a unique experience with the expectation of receiving donations to support the cause.
All proceeds go directly to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Operators' wishing to host this event can call United Food Group at (847) 622-1803 and ask for Debra Solberg, or apply on line at perfectservings.com/LBBC.
