UNFI taps McDonald’s Mahrukh Hussain as general counsel

United Natural Foods Inc. has named Mahrukh Hussain general counsel and corporate secretary, with oversight of the company's legal and governance activities, reporting to CEO Sandy Douglas, according to a press release.

Hussain, who currently serves as McDonald's senior vice president, chief commercial and privacy officer, will join UNFI on May 16.
