UK supermarket chain to deploy reverse vending machines for recycling

Iceland Foods Ltd., a Scotland based supermarket chain with thousands of stores in the U.K., has selected Envipco, a Netherlands-based provider of reverse vending machines, to install reverse vending machines at its 87 Scotland stores for the recovery of used beverage containers, according to a press release.

"We chose Envipco as our supplier after extensive testing and trials across multiple stores," Richard Walker, Envipco's managing director, said in the press release.
