UK hospital installs phone charger vending machine

Southampton General Hospital in the U.K. has installed a phone charger vending machine allowing patients, visitors and staff to keep their phones charged without wasting hospital resources, according to a report in thebusinessmagazine.co.uk.

The machines, made by Lifesaver Power, a U.K. energy company, allow users to rent or buy a battery power bank for a smartphone. The company also offers users to exchange power banks at the machine.
