UK foodservice provider to expand with new facility

R D Johns Foodservice, based in the Southwest U.K., has begun construction on a 40,000-square-foot building as its new headquarters in Devon, according to an msn.com report.

The company supplies foodservice and hospitality customers from its existing facility at the Milber Industrial Estate.

The new building will have three floors for frozen, chilled and ambient storage with an expanded workforce, which it is looking to grow to 250 with 30 new hires.

Construction is expected to be completed and operational by the end of the year.
