UK dairy farm introduces milk vending machine

A family dairy farm in Hessay, three miles west of York, has become the latest U.K. farm to introduce a milk vending machine, according to a Yahoo News report. The Hildreth family got the idea after another farm in the area introduced a vending machine during the pandemic.

Curlew Fields Farm, which has 120 Holstein cows that produce 3,500 liters of milk a day, introduced a machine that allows guests to buy a reusable, 1-liter, glass bottle for £2 ($2.47) and fill it with milk that is pasteurized at the farm.

The machine also offers milkshakes with flavors including vanilla, rhubarb and custard.
