UK coffee pod recycling project names executive director

Podback, a recycling scheme for coffee pods established by Nestlé and Jacobs Douwe Egberts UK, has named Rick Hindley as its executive director, according to an aluminumtoday.com report.

Podback offers a nationwide collect and drop-off service in the U.K., along with a curbside collection service in certain areas.

Consumers can leave used coffee pods at participating retailers that sell plastic or aluminum coffee pods.
