UK Buying Group Names Crane Merchandising Systems Supplier Of The Year

CHIPPENHAM, England -- The National Independent Vending Operators, a UK buying consortium, has honored Crane Merchandising Systems as its 2014 Supplier of the Year. The award recognizes the durability of Crane's equipment, which has been highly rated by NIVO members.

"Our positioning in the industry reflects the extremely high quality equipment we supply to our customers," said Mike Kane,CMS sales director. "We pride ourselves on the success of our products, both in terms of their long life cycle and the high level of repeat business we receive from customers who have used us for years."

Upon presenting the award, NIVO managing director Graham Kingaby said, "This is a marvelous endorsement from our members for consistently good products. Crane always sets the bar high."

The accolade comes six months after Crane's official launch of its Media platform, which is focused on improving consumer engagement and same-store sales growth for operators. Media is now in use for its freestanding cold beverage, coffee and snack machines.
