UK arcade goes cashless

Noble Leisure, an arcade located on Portobello Beach in Edinburgh, U.K., has recently modernized its facility with RFID cashless technology to better manage and automate key processes while offering a user-friendly experience, according to a press release.

The cashless solution from Semnox Solutions includes the deployment of 90 Lumin card readers for "tap-to-play" functionality throughout the arcade, allowing visitors to make transactions using contactless payment methods.

Additionally, three self-service kiosks have been installed, empowering guests to manage their arcade gameplay. The kiosks enable users to top up their arcade cards, check balances, purchase game credits and redeem prizes.
