UAE introduces free bread vending machines

The United Arab Emirates has launched its "Bread for All" initiative, offering free bread from vending machines, according to a report in thenationalnews.com.

Fresh bread vending machines will be placed at Aswaaq supermarkets in Al Badaa, Nadd Al Hamr, Al Warqaa, Al qouz, Al Mizhar, Mirdif and Nad Al Sheba. Lower income people will be able to receive free bread at certain times of day.

The initiative is part of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid's initiative announced at the start of the pandemic to ensure no one sleeps hungry.
