U-Vend Pacts With National Hockey League

SANTA MONICA, CA -- U-Vend Inc.'s new Pucks ice cream bars will sport NHL team marks on the mini hockey sticks that are inserted into them and on their packaging.

Through a multiyear licensing pact between Santa Monica, CA-based U-Vend and the National Hockey League, the Pucks branded ice cream will roll out this summer in Canada through retail freezer merchandisers, located in convenience stores and large national retail grocery stores.

Beginning in summer 2016, the NHL-branded frozen novelties will expand to the United States, and be sold from vending machines and "grab-and-go" kiosks, each with built-in digital signage featuring NHL branding. Both machines will exclusively carry the team-branded Pucks frozen novelties.

U-Vend has also partnered with Mini Melts USA, Del Monte and Arthur's Smoothies for rights to sell their products through its dedicated, branded vending machines.
