LAS VEGAS -- U-Vend Inc., which operates Mini Melts-branded vending machines, said it has opened a warehouse in Las Vegas, where it has deployed 25 ice cream units in the past six months. U-Vend's Las Vegas product and equipment warehouse is 1,500 square feet. The company also maintains facilities in Chicago and Orange, CA.
Santa Monica, CA-based U-Vend's Mini Melts venders are located in big box retailers, shopping malls and entertainment centers throughout Las Vegas. The company is targeting the 400-plus casinos and hotels in the region, among other high-traffic venues.
"We believe the potential for significant success is attainable as the locations of our Mini Melts offering expand, and our soon-to-be available sport-themed ice cream product lines are introduced," said U-Vend chief executive Raymond Meyers.
U-Vend said its revenue increased 318% to $275,266 during its latest third quarter, ended Sept. 30, compared with $86,530 for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014.
