U-Vend Opens Facility To Support Entry Into Canadian Market

OAKVILLE, ON -- U-Vend Inc. has opened its first Canadian facility near Toronto. With 1,000 square feet of office space and warehouse with twice as much space, the Oakville facility will support the southern Ontario market and serve as the main offices for U-Vend's North American digital advertising operations.

In addition, the Oakville location will support U-Vend's previously announced licensing partnership with the National Hockey League, as the company will soon be launching its Frozen Pond premium ice cream in Canada.

Beginning this spring, fans will be able to purchase the ice cream bars featuring NHL-branded "Collector Hockey Sticks" from the company's vending machines, merchandisers and countertop freezers, which will be located in high-traffic consumer venues in Toronto and southern Ontario regions.

The news comes on the heels of U-Vend's recent opening of a warehouse in Las Vegas. It also maintains facilities in Chicago and Orange, CA.
