U-Vend Inks Ice Cream Vending License Deal With Major League Baseball

SANTA MONICA, CA -- U-Vend Inc. said it has signed a multiyear licensing agreement with Major League Baseball to sell baseball-themed ice cream products through its vending machines, and at convenience and retail stores in the U.S.

Each "baseball-modeled" ice cream bar will include an MLB team-branded collector bat. U-Vend also said its vending machines will feature built-in, digital screens featuring MLB-approved advertising and promotions.

U-Vend says it currently has more than 130 vending machines in southern California and Las Vegas. It expects the MLB agreement to expand its reach in 30 new territories.
