U-Vend Appoints Ice Cream Veteran Michael Crone To Marketing Post

SANTA MONICA, CA -- Michael W. Crone has joined U-Vend as senior vice-president. His appointment coincides with the company's launch of sports-themed ice cream in vending machines and retail stores.

Crone was senior vice-president of sales at Wells Dairy for 10 years. Earlier in his career, he served as distribution strategy and acquisitions vice-president at Nestlé Ice Cream Co. and as national sales vice-president at Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream Co., a division of Pillsbury/Diageo. He also worked for Frito-Lay.
