Tyson Foods to pilot self-driving trucks

Tyson Foods Inc. will use self-driving trucks to ship products between Dallas and San Antonio, Texas, beginning this month, according to a press release.

Kodiak Robotics Inc., a self-driving trucking company, teamed with C.R. England Inc., a truckload carrier, to ship the deliveries. The deliveries will use Kodiak self-driving trucks and C.R. England refrigerated trailers.

Safety drivers will be in the trucks in the initial stages of the pilot.
