Tyson Foods Inc. will invest $300 million to build a production plant in Danville, Virginia, according to a press release. The facility is expected to create nearly 400 jobs when production begins in the spring of 2023.

The company will construct a 325,000-square-foot facility, primarily for the production of fully-cooked Tyson branded chicken products, including Any'tizer snacks and chicken nuggets. The facility will be built in Cane Creek Centre, an industrial park jointly owned by the city of Danville and Pittsylvania County.
