Tyson Foods to build $70M poultry facility in Arkansas

Tyson Foods Inc. announced plans to build a $70 million hatchery in Hope, Arkansas to serve two poultry production complexes shortly after announcing plans to close plants in Van Buren, Arkansas and Glen Allen, Virginia, according to an Arkansas Democrat Gazette report.

The 131,000 square-foot hatchery in Hope is scheduled for completion in late 2024 and will improve efficiencies in processing operations in Hope in Hempstead County and Nashville in Howard County.
