Tyson Foods Inc. announced it is adding about 400 jobs at its prepared foods plant in Caseyville, Illinois as part of a facility expansion, according to a Marketwatch report. The company plans to invest $180 million to develop the plant, which makes Jimmy Dean and Hillshire Farm grab-and-go snacks and breakfast items.
The company will add seven product lines and 270,000 square feet to the facility along with automated warehousing and robotics.
The facility currently has more than 300 employees.
