Two More Zazzz Pot Venders Go Live Users Can Pay With Bitcoin

TEMPE, AZ -- American Green Inc. said two of its Zazzz pot vending machines are online for public use. One of the machines, located at Pacific Coast Dispensary in Seattle, will be the first Zazzz vender that is "standalone bud tender" at any dispensary. The other new machine will be located at Exhale dispensary in Los Angeles.

Both machines reportedly have their own bitcoin accounts and take the digital currency for purchases, another first for the company. American Green said each company operating a dispensary with a Zazzz vender must have its own bitcoin account since American Green cannot handle funds derived from such product transactions for regulatory reasons. Once set up, it says the process is simple for people make bitcoin purchases.

"With the initial group of machines nearly organized, we have been able to create a process that includes delivery, relocation, regulatory compliance, product management and more," said American Green president Stephen Shearin.

He said the activation of the next set of machines will be easier and enable the company to shorten the order-to-activation cycle and enable the company to turn more of its attention to machine use by the public.

"Special deals, prizes, celebrity endorsements and appearances will all be part of a rollout that we expect will go on for years," he said. "With every completed installation, we learn more about what we have and what we can have."
