Twix, part of Mars Inc., is debuting Hallowmas, a celebration combining spooky and festive traditions with limited-edition treats, a sweepstakes and a New York City pop-up event, according to a press release.
The promotion includes the release of Twix Hallowmas Packs featuring Ghoulish Green Fun Size bars and the new Twix Snowman, available for $2 while supplies last at Twix.com/Hallowmas.
"Halloween falls on a Friday this year for the first time in over a decade, which means more celebrations, more trick-or-treaters and more Twix," Tim LeBel, president of sales and chief Halloween officer at Mars Wrigley North America, said in the release. "We're excited to have fans help us give Hallowmas a moment celebrating both of their favorite holidays at once, which only Twix, the brand of two, can deliver on."
The brand is also launching the Twix Candy & Cash Sweepstakes, awarding one winner $20,000 and a bundle of Twix bars. Fans can enter by commenting on Twix's sweepstakes post and tagging a friend, with bonus entries for sharing Hallowmas content on Instagram or TikTok.
To promote the event, Twix is introducing "Zombie Claus," a character appearing in social media content and at the Twix Hallowmas Grotto pop-up in Brooklyn Oct. 31–Nov. 1. The event will feature jump scares, photo ops and free Twix Hallowmas Packs for the first 100 guests each night.
