Twitch Plans Its Own Convention TwitchCon Runs Sept 25-26

SAN FRANCISCO -- The leading social video platform for gamers said it is planning its first convention dedicated to its partners, broadcasters and viewers.

TwitchCon 2015 is scheduled for Sept. 25 and 26 at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco.

To date, the coin-op industry has not become a major factor in Twitch, though the 7th Annual Big Buck Hunter Championship held in October was broadcast over the streaming service and garnered a respectable number of views. | SEE STORY
