ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- -- The world's oldest and largest maker of arcade-quality pinball machines said it has hired Tony DeFeo as a senior systems engineer. He will be responsible for advancing Stern Pinball Inc.'s system level software.

DeFeo brings 24 years of software experience and more than 15 years of game design know-how to Stern's growing development division, which is now known as the Game Design Studio. Prior to joining Stern Pinball, he was the lead software architect at Incredible Technologies Inc., maker of Golden Tee golf simulators. Prior to his service at IT, he worked on pinball game development for Capcom Coin-Op Inc., and was also a software engineer at Clear Communications Inc., Motorola Inc. and Harris Corp.

"Tony loves pinball and brings tremendous technical expertise to Stern," said executive vice-president of game development George Gomez. "He will make a powerful contribution to the efforts of our studio as we continue our quest to evolve pinball both technologically and through gameplay enhancements."
