Tokyo restaurant chain deploys chilled meals in outdoor vending machines

Kitchen ABC, a Tokyo restaurant chain, has installed outdoor vending machines offering chilled versions of its meals for people to take home and cook when the restaurant is closed, according to a soranews24.com report.

The machines, located at three of the restaurant locations, have pictures of the meals on the 10 selection facings, along with the price for each meal.

In addition to chicken nanban and black curry, the offerings included garlic yakiniku with hamburger steak for 1,100 yen ($7).
