Tokyo Metro installs frozen food vending machine

Tokyo Metro Co. has installed a vending machine offering frozen gyoza dumplings and ramen in a subway station, according to a report in The Japan News.

Ramen from three restaurants and gyoza from another restaurant are available at the station at in Iidabashi Station on the Namboku Line.

The dumplings cost ¥800 ($7.03) while ramen costs ¥1,000 ($8.78) to ¥1,100 (88 cents), including tax.

Cold storage bags and ice packs are also available for ¥200 ($1.78).
