Tokyo bakery installs vending machine to sell food

A Tokyo bakery that serves sandwiches recently installed a vending machine that allows guests to buy pizza, burgers and sandwiches during regular hours, according to an Atlas Obscura report.

Toshiharu Hamano, owner of Tateishi Burger, initially served the food after someone inserted coins into the machine. He has since upgraded the machine to automatically drop the food item into the machine.

A burger sells for 100 yen (approximately $1).
