Third generation Greene family member joins D&S Vending

Greene family members working at D&S Vending Inc. now include Jordan, Ryan, Jason and Rusty Greene.

The third generation of the Greene family has joined Cleveland based D&S Vending Inc. as a full time employee: Ryan Greene, son of second generation president, Jason Greene, and grandson of company founder, the late Don Greene.

Ryan Greene, who began working in the company when he was 18, has joined the company as a sales representative.

"I am thrilled that we now have a third generation working here after my father, Don, and currently my brother, Jordan, sales manager, and myself," Jason Greene told Vending Times. "In addition, my sister, Laurel Greene Kaiser, LISW-S, has joined us and is now in charge of our social media."

Jason Greene has many fond memories since he himself began working at the company when he was 18, then moved up through the ranks.

"I was thrilled when my father chose me to run the family business six years ago, so I could continue the legacy he established 50 years prior," he said. "I would sweep the floors, wrap the machines, drive the tow motor when I first started. I found my real niche when he moved me to the parts department and got into sales, which I still enjoy today."

The company still works out of its original Cleveland facility.

Team members of the company, a distributor of remanufactured vending equipment and parts, also include:

• Dennis Olsen, senior sales manager, 22 years.
• Rich Lucarelli, senior sales representative, 15 years, and formerly owner of Lutech Inc. for 24 years.
• Rusty Greene, owner and wife of the late Donald Greene, founder.

"There is no way we would have survived all these years without our amazing team members," Rusty Greene said. "On average, they all have at least 20 years of experience with us. They are without a doubt the MVPs of D&S Vending."
