Tech 2 Success Brings Managed Wireless Service To Micromarket Operators

NEW YORK CITY -- A new partnership allows Tech 2 Success LLC to offer OptConnect wireless service to micromarket operators in North America.

New York City-based Tech 2 Success is a technology and operations consultancy for the vending and micromarket channels. It specializes in project and change management, and offers private cloud services.

Kaysville, UT-based OptConnect provides managed wireless services for ATMs, smart safes, kiosks and digital signage, among other custom applications, including micromarkets. It provides operators with hardware, network connectivity, management software, 24/7 tech support and system alerts.

By using a managed service, operators gain greater flexibility at micromarket locations. New locations can be deployed quickly, as lengthy negotiations with onsite IT staff can be eliminated, according to Tech 2 Success's John Hickey.

"With recent data security breaches, corporate IT teams are hesitant to open their networks to any outside vendors," Hickey said. "Wireless is the obvious solution for the data needs of third parties. It provides a pain free, reliable solution and cuts through all the red tape."
