Taiwan cake chain launches 30 vending machines

Taiwanese cake chain Yannick has launched 30 "Yannick To-Go Machines" at 21 Taipa MRT transit stations, according to a Taiwan News report.

The machines let customers purchase baked goods as well as check cake inventory across the country in real time.

With this launch the company now operates 51 cake vending machines nationwide, Yannick Chair Wu Tsung-en told the news outlet. He said over 60% of users regularly use the MRT for commuting and that the main customer group is between 25 and 35 years old.
