Sysco introduces 9 menu concepts, eco-friendly towels

Sysco Corp. has introduced nine menu concepts plus eco-friendly towels through its Cutting Edge Solutions platform.

The Spring 2021 Cutting Edge Solutions products are available and include:

  • Plant-based vegetable pastas: Pre-cooked options include penne, rotini, a curly noodle and orzo.
  • Shredded chicken tenderloins.
  • Crispy milanese chicken breast.
  • Portico classic Mexican street corn breaded shrimp.
  • Red battered jumbo crinkle cut fries.
  • Plant-based cheesecakes made with sustainably-sourced dairy-free cream cheese, dairy-free sour cream, cocoa powder and natural vanilla, all sweetened with natural sugar cane and nestled in a cookie crumble crust.
  • Chocolate s'more cake: chocolate cake topped with gooey marshmallow and served on an authentic graham cracker crust.

In addition, the company's CentraSmart eco-friendly microfiber, 16-square-inch towels are available in packs of 12. More than 50% of the yarn comes from recycled plastic bottles.
