OUD-BEIJERLAND, Netherlands --
Suzohapp has introduced the
Scan Coin ICX Active-9 coin processor, which is designed as an all-in-one medium-duty solution in a variety of market segments, from vending and amusements through gaming and retail to banking.
According to Suzohapp, the new machine leverages the best-in-class technology developed for the acclaimed high-volume Scan Coin ICP (intelligent coin processing) Active-9, a benchmark for high-volume sorters.
The ICX Active-9 makes use of the same firmware as the ICP Active-9 platform to provide complete control of sensor programmability, so the machine can be adapted to accommodate future coins, and to offsort coin types that are taken out of circulation.
The ICX Active-9 has nine coin outlets and a reject outlet. Multiple coins and/or tokens can be sorted into the same bag, and coins of the same diameter can be separated into different bags, to remove legacy coins. This capability has not reduced throughput, according to Suzohapp. The ICX Active-9 can process as many as 2,700 coins/tokens per minute – and it's designed to process 250,000 coins per shift.
Coins come in all shapes and sizes, and in a variety of materials including aluminum and stainless steel. The ICX Active-9 can process all of them. It's equipped with a 10-in. LCD touchscreen user interface, and it offers comprehensive statistics to ensure that all coins can be quickly and simply traced.
The new machine will be in the spotlight in Booth 2-215 at this fall's
Euro Attractions Show, organized by the International Association of Parks & Attractions in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from Sept. 25 through 27.
It also will take center stage at Suzohapp's Booth 1C81 at
Security Essen (Essen, Germany) from Sept. 25 through 28.
