MT. PROSPECT, IL -- Suzo-Happ has announced a new leadership organization designed to accommodate the growth and diversification that the company has accomplished over the past several years.
President and chief executive James Brendel [pictured] has been named chairman of the board, effective immediately. He will relinquish the day-to-day responsibilities of his previous posts in order to focus on the company's strategic direction.
Under the new structure, Matt Brown, Marcel Oelen and Ron Partridge report to the board of directors. Brown continues as Suzo-Happ's chief financial officer, and will work directly with the company's Asia Pacific and global bill-to-bill leaders. Oelen continues as managing director, responsible for Suzo-Happ's interests in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Partridge continues as president, Americas, in charge of the company' interests in North and South America.
"This new role allows me to focus exclusively on the strategic leadership and direction of Suzo-Happ, while allowing the strong executive team that we have put into place to further the company's operational capabilities," Brendel explained. He added that the company's ability to provide "outstanding solutions" to its customers will be enhanced by the new organization.
