ROSEVILLE, MN -- Summit Food Service has acquired Sioux Falls, SD-based CBM Managed Services, strengthening its position within the correctional foodservice market.

CBM has been providing foodservice, commissary and vending solutions to county, state, municipal and city correctional facilities for more than 25 years. CBM's correctional division has around 1,000 employees serving 200 locations in 29 states. The business will continue to operate as usual, led by current president and chief executive Marlin Sejnoha.

Summit, part of Elior Group, operates in 30 states, serves 350 facilities in 30 states, both on the local and state level.

Summit Food Service, part of Elior Group, is a national leader in foodservice management for correctional facilities. It operates across the country serving 550 facilities with more than 2,500 employees.
