Stern Pinball allows players to save IDs in mobile wallet

Stern Pinball Inc. has introduced a feature to its Insider Connected technology to allow players to save an ID card with their personal QR code in their mobile wallet when playing the company's games, according to an Insider Connected update.

Players no longer have to log into Insider Connected or find a previously saved screenshot of their QR code in their phone photo albums.

The new "Home Team" feature on free play games allows players to set up to eight insider profiles that will always be available. Guests can scan their QR codes, which will be remembered until the machine is turned off.

The company has released code updates containing Home Team for all 18 Stern commercial games with LCD displays. Insider Connected games can automatically download and update the code.
