ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- Stern Pinball has appointed industry veteran Doug Skor director of export sales. In this post, he will work alongside company founder and chief executive officer Gary Stern, and will report to chief revenue officer John Buscaglia.

Skor's 35-year career in amusements has included service as vice-president of his family's distributorship, World Wide Distributing; president of Deutsche Wurlitzer USA; vice-president of EDC Gaming; and vice-president of Chicago Gaming Co.

"I have known Doug for decades, both through our families' friendship and his game business activities," Stern said. "He is well-known and experienced in the amusement game industry, both domestically and abroad."

Stern added that the company's continual growth has made it increasingly difficult for him to manage export sales responsively while performing his duties as CEO. "I will still be involved with the export markets and always available for our export customers – and, for that matter, all of our customers," he explained.

"Doug and I will be traveling in the export markets together, visiting our export customers, making export customers familiar with Doug and him familiar with them," Stern concluded.

"I'm very excited to be joining Stern Pinball and using my skills and experience to help our distribution partners expand their markets," Skor observed.  "I have a long history of selling Stern Pinball products.  I worked in the industry when Gary started the company."
