Starry launches '100 Degrees, 100% Off' campaign for National Refreshment Day

Starry, the lemon-lime flavored soda, has launched its "100 Degrees, 100% Off" campaign, offering consumers a full refund on a 20-ounce Starry (regular or zero sugar) when temperatures reach 100 degrees anywhere in the United States, according to a press release. The initiative, launched on National Refreshment Day, aims to provide relief during summer's peak heat.

Consumers can obtain a digital pass from Starry100degrees100off.com. When the national temperature hits 100 degrees, the pass activates, allowing users to purchase a Starry, upload their receipt, and receive 100% cash back via PayPal or Venmo. This offer is limited to one per customer and will run through Sept. 2, 2025.

In addition to the national digital campaign, Starry will deploy special vending machines in Miami, Charlotte and Atlanta from July 24-31. These machines will automatically dispense free 20-ounce Starry bottles when local temperatures reach 100 degrees.

"When the temperature hits triple digits, Starry shows up big time," Michael Smith, VP of flavored CSD marketing, PepsiCo Beverages U.S., said in the release. "Starting on National Refreshment Day, if it's 100 degrees, your Starry is 100% off, part of our new campaign to be your ultimate summer refreshment."

The campaign will be supported by out-of-home advertising and social media content from national and local influencers.
